⁴⁷ And all who heard Him ^(A)were astounded at His understanding and His answers. ⁴⁸ When they saw Him, they were astonished, and ^(B)His mother said to Him, “Child, why have You treated us this way? Behold, ^(C)Your father and I ^[a]have been anxiously searching for You.” ⁴⁹ And He said to them, “Why is it that you were searching for Me? Did you not know that ^(D)I had to be in My Father’s ^[b]house?”
